Welcome to Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Associates (OPTA)!
We’re pleased you’ve chosen us.

OPTA is proud of our decade-long ability of maintaining a healthy, caring environment in which patients thrive and gain the assistance they require.

What to expect with Physical Therapy:

As a patient you can expect to be treated with the utmost respect and support here at Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Associates.

Upon your first visit

Your first appointment will last approximately one hour. In that time you will be evaluated to determine the severity of your injury and the exercises of which you are capable.

You will receive instruction from your therapist that will help you complete a few exercises. After some initial exercises, you may then finish your treatment on a modality that assists in your rehabilitation. Upon completion, we will work together to set up goals to aid you through your rehabilitation process.

What should I wear?

It is best to wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing (shorts are optional).

For ease of treatment with a shoulder injury, you should wear a shirt that buttons in the front.

NEW!  Do you know about Direct Access?

Under Ohio law, our Physical Therapists are now able to evaluate and treat patients without a physician’s order.

This gives you the flexibility to be seen and treated by experts of musculo-skeletal dysfunctions, saving you an extra trip to the doctor’s office.
