In 1984, he completed his studies and achieved a 'Bachelor of Science' degree in physical therapy from the University of Illinois. He is licensed in the state of Ohio. His first job as a therapist was at Clermont Mercy Hospital. He then worked with Med Sports One. In 1991, the opportunity presented itself for him to own Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Associates Inc. His philosophy of treatment is to keep the treatment active and progressive. He is a believer that whenever possible, "the brain needs to be re-educated to increase function with minimal or no reliance on machines."
